The cool stories involving ponies/bronies thread

Thre may be a thread similar to this but I didn't know for sure so here it is the cool stories thread.

The idea is to share the cool/funny/in other words positive adventures you have that invlove MLP in any way. Stuff like meetups you partake in or simply random places you have seen pony refrences, whatever it is, post it!


I will start, this weekend I am working at a music festivel called center of gravity (if you have heard of it)! Counting money in the concert beer gardens and during my (short) break I got to watch part of knife party's set. During the buildup into a song I did not recognize, Knife Party gets on the mic and yells "Kelowna! Put your Hooves up!" and I think that could only mean one thing, a somewhat subtle refrence to MLP. You can be the judge on what it means but needless to say I quite enjoyed the line! His live set was also quite good from what I could hear.

My lady and I work at the same hotel doing the night shift. A guest put in the following request for his stay: "Drawing of unicorns or other mythical creatures is greatly appreciated."

She is giving him a shrugging Rarity picture along with a Spike sticker with his bill.

I Was at A McDonalds and i was really shy about asking for The mlp toy and after wandering around the store for about 5 minutes or so i finnally got the courage to ask for it ... anyway some douche bag kid had to make fun of me being a brony And out of no where this big muscular dude came to my rescue and said Yo little Faggot leave him alone of course the punk ass kid left me alone and the dude that came to my rescue asked for a brohoof and winked as he left the store

For my story, I was at a convenience store with some non-brony friends, and one of them picked up a few bananas and began inspecting them. I approached him and went "Oh do you like bananas? Are you a bitch that likes bananas?" etc. Some other random dude in the store went "Well that's good, 'cause you gonna go bananas, ON THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!"

We still talk on skype.

This was at the beginning of the fall semester last year, my first semester of college and right when I started getting into ponies. I was on YouTube one night and watching some random pony things when I read a comment linking to a particular video that the person described as being the one thing they used to get other people into MLP. Naturally, I had to check it out.

It was an incredibly epic Sonic Rainboom remix, with a few scenes from Cutie Mark Chronicles, and I loved it. It was what finally convinced me to dust off my old YouTube channel I had never used, and it was the first video I ever liked on that account.

A few weeks later, I found out that the person who made that video was a guy I had just met and talked to, and we were now attending the same (very small) school.

Blew my freaking mind.

One time I overheard the little "nerd group" (more like the annoying type nerdy people. Not the ones that are actually interesting people) in my class say something about MLP

I ignored them. Simple as that. There was no way I was getting tied into a conversation with a group of people that spew memes out of their mouths, talk about video games all the time, etc. I was already stuck with them for a group project. One of them was a pretty good kid, but eh, I try to stray away from most people in my school because I can't stand them and their stupidity. Then again, I'm very picky with who I talk to akxjejsn an irrelevance.

My brother is a brony too, and works as a waiter at a Steak n' Shake in my town, and this guy and his girlfriend walked in, and the guy was wearing the "Brony" shirt with RD on it. He waited his table, and after he had served them and gave them their bill, he said "Hey dude... brohoof." And they brohoofed, and he and his girlfriend left. He left my bro a $20 tip for two burgers and a milkshake.
