Elements of Harmony collab-new Waves of Paradox overhaul

Okay! How about first we get this massive-wtf collab off the ground.

I think a good idea with this would be to first compile a list of who is doing what, and in what order we'll be working on this. I also think that everyone who wants to group their part with anothers (ex. a guitarist and a vocalist) should get in touch with each other and begin brainstorming, asap.

Another idea: We do two wtf-collabs. One geared towards all the metal-inclined, and another for the electronic producers. Note, I think everyone should have the option of participating in both if they want.

Sounds like it should work. As for deadlines, I assume a lot of us are participating in the Remix War? We'll want quite a bit of time after that to work on this.

Everything here seems fine, but two wtf collabs still a lot, and even that, I WEELY want a full wtf massive collab lol.

I was thinking the prog metal collab would just be a semi-big one for people who have the proper talent, not one of the huge collabs. I imagine the WTF one(s) will be somewhat like the 4 bar insanity one.

Ok, 97 posts, but we still don't have guidelines, rules, teh wtf collab started, teh deadlain, and when we're stopping resquests of people joining... (I'm sorry for this post, just needed to put it ther, I'm sounding like an annoying fuck rit now)

Well, there aren't many guidelines. Basically, use your element and collabs are encouraged. Do as many songs as you want. And we don't have a WTF collab yet. Just a rather large prog one. Let's say 3 months for making your song, collab with anypony you want. Then we start on the WTF collab.

I think I'm going to be lax and say anyone who can get a quality entry by the deadline. Of course, elements will be taken up, which will form a natural pseudo-cap on people doing it.

Yes, I need help on the judging; my ear is only for classical, and to some degree metal/rock/jazz.

haha, k, I can for anything except for screamo and chromatic songs (for screamo, I can listen to Linkin Park very easily, but I'll kill myself if I listen to Rapture, lol, there's a huge difference one has rap and EDM to it too, the other is just death metal. That's also why I was able to listen to Breaking Bonds very easily and not any other screamo in BP or APM.).

Jazz (besides industrial and classical jazz), gangster rap, latin, and mainstream pop is to some degree .

I got a good ear in almost all rap, rock, and EDM. Also heavy orchestra.

I can go with that, and I was hoping someone would volunteer for brutal vocals, because I can't do them.

I can do some Whitechapel/Carcass/Bloodbath/Opeth -esque growls and pig squeals. I'm pretty good at utterly disgusting gutteral growls. I'm not great at typical screaming, but I can do it decently enough.
