My voice is not the best for this song, but oh well.

What chord progression is that? I should be able to tell by just hearing it, but I suck at learning by ear :D .
I really enjoyed this cover, I think you're voice fit pretty well for the song, it may jut be me though. Adding background singers was a nice touch too.

I transposed it down a whole step so it would be easier to play on the guitar, even though it was harder to sing, and I ended up using a sample for the guitar anyway.

The chords I used were E, A, C#m, B for the verses and F#m, A, E, B for the chorus.

The original chords are F#, B, D#m, C# for the verses and G#m, B, F#, C# for the chorus.

I love your spin on this song, the guitar sounds awesome, and you nailed it with the electric piano and orchestral opening. Love the piano throughout the song, just great stuff. I really enjoyed the sound of the chorus, with the harmonic background vocals, very nice touch man! The only thing I would say is... too much effect on the vocals? I'd love to hear it more natural sounding you know? (The chorus can probably stay the same, but everything else, maybe minimize the effect?) That's just my opinion, anyways I really was entertained by this, awesome job dude, you've got another follower on soundcloud :)

Believe it or not there's not a lot of effects on the lead vocals. I recorded it 3 times, which gives it sort of a chorus effect. It seems a bit too loud, though, despite the fact that it's not clipping. I think I just need to sing softer. I stepped back from the mic a bit for the sort parts at the end and I liked the sound of that. I need to experiment a little bit. I don't have a lot of experience recording vocals yet.
