I have a WIP. It's not ready as a WIP yet. It still needs the other half of the song, which is really two songs and the second one just worksbetter withe the first one as an intro and it's getting kinda weird. You'll see once I post my WIP.

Also, regarding the WiP, the submission is due on the 27th, as stated earlier in this thread. The WiP's do not have to be anything special. We are not asking for a final version of the song you want on this album. but I still want to be sure that we have a good deal of material from all of the artists, so we can get and give feedback to each other. SO I'm gonna put some requirements for the WiP's here.

-First, The WiP's should be AT LEAST a length of 30-45 seconds. If you give us two bars of this kind of thing, we don't get enough of the song to make an honest critique!

-Second, there should be at least 3-4 instruments through the piece, unless it's accoustic, or some genre that only uses a few instruments. Once again, we want to be sure that we have enough work done on this WiP to critique and give our opinions on, and just a percussion section doesn't give that much of an impression.

-Third, The WiP needs to have some form of title or theme. like on other commmunity Albums, we don't want every track to be titled "TLK2 Song". In fact, we don't want any titled that. So A title, description, or something would be very good to have.

As for how to get these WiP's to me, you can send them to me via PM, Skype, or any other method you want. Just be sure that I get it. Since i'm just checking to see that you have a WiP, any type of file is acceptable. (wav, mp3, midi, whatever.) I will probably spam you all with messages sometime later as well, but getting me your WiP's now would be preferable.

Lastly, once you have the WiP ready, and send it tome, it is highly reccomended that you show other people on the skype chat, here on MLR, or other music sites to get some feedback or advice. This isn't just to help you guys get popular. This is to get your BEST WORK featured, and we want all the tracks on this album to be the best they can be. So do yourself and your track a favor, and ask for a second opinion.

I will have a WIP posted very soon. I actually made about 6 songs from the last time I posted, but am posting none of them because they all suck hard. I just need a winner, but if nothing, I'll post what I have and try to improve them later.

Current project: sort of remix of Ain't no Sunshine. Lotsa bass. Gonna be about 5 minutes long.

Hmm... You've heard what I've been working on? Does that fall into the second category

So today I open up my song project for the album and I get some sort of error. Apparently one of the plugins can't load, and now bits and pieces of the song are just empty. Though when I try and use said plugin in a different project file, it works fine. So now all I have to submit for the album is one of my earlier versions of the song, which is mostly done, though there are still plenty of changes I would've liked to make.

I'm pretty annoyed at this :/
