Just got a Launchpad today...Help me..

I got a Launchpad today, really awesome and I love it. I need somebody teach me how to use it please. I would be very appreciative.

Okay, in all honesty, I have no clue what a launchpad is, and I'm wasting our time. But I'm known for that.

I was considering getting one...is it better for live performances or music creation?

And from what I've seen, it looks like you can program loops and sfx to buttons and then either load them on to the pad itself or play them from the computer, I don't actually know. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also is it usable for fl studio? Or just ableton
