Why do I love my little pony?

Several reasons

• The show is awesome in more ways than one
• The community is full of some of the nicest poeple I know
• Tara Strong has a nice badonkadonk [/Underpony]
• It re-inspired me to start writing music again
• Because Pony Should Pony Pony

But most of all, it's the fan music. MY GOD the fan music. Before MLP, you wouldn't catch me dead listening to anything electronic. Then everything changed when the fire nation attacked I caught wind of the stuff that Tombstone does, and I was thoroughly amazed. Then my eyes opened to the stuff the rest of the community does, and I thoroughly love all of it. Still can't get into dubstep, but the rest of it is good. Overall, the show managed to catch my attention with it's superb animation, solid writing and likable characters. But it was the community, specifically the brony music scene that got me to stick around. I'm new to this site, only have a couple posts, and I don't really know most of you, but I freaking love you guys. <3

Becuase the show is both interesting and not really that edgy, and that's weird. Because usually the most interesting things are topical and edgy, but this show mangages to be entertaining on it's own merits.

Meh, "edgyness" has become dull, nowadays. Its sometimes feels like some people are trying too hard to be "subversive" and seem intelligent. To be honest, I personally would prefer for a not-live show to be of something that is not very topical and can withstand the test of time.

The fandom is awesome. The show is well written. It's fun having haters, but also meeting new people. And vinyl scratch and lyra is best pony.
