Take my opinion was as much or as little salt as you'd like, since I'm no expert. I liked the vocal effects alot and that organ-synth sound alot during the breakdown (It was a great pick for a song about changelings IMO), but I do find it somewhat repetitive.

For instance, take the section from 0:30 - 1:00. I hear you bring in some strings halfway through, but it still doesn't wholly break free from the repetition. It's the same 4-beat loop of the kick, percussion instruments, bass and lead synth. And while for the first few loops it sounded great, it soon left me with this feeling of suspense for something larger to break loose from it. Like, maybe another vocal sample followed by a new, longer melody. The strings were sort of getting there until I realized it was the same two swells playing over and over. I know it doesn't matter much, but I've been told that a loop that is 2x the size of another gets repetitive in 2x the amount of time.

The next segment from 1:00 - 1:30 was a nice change, and although the bass had a new melody to it, it still felt like it was missing some more pizzazz. Change up the drums a bit maybe?

After that I was a little dismayed that it went back to the original pattern, until 1:45 when the other vox came in. Maybe you should just use that right off from the get-go at 1:30?

I really liked the breakdown. Besides the vox effects, one of my favorite parts.

At 3:10+, just a touch of repetition.

Sorry for that brick of text. I didn't intend it to be this long. :/

tl;dr I liked certain parts alot, and the rest could be the same if the repetition was broken.

Yeah I tend to use a lot of repeated melodies in my WIPs as filler. I need to change the drums big time. I am trying to get the form down atm, still got a lot to do, yeah 3:15+ is going to be completely different. That is filler until I find out what to put next. Still trying to get the form down before adjustments are made.
