<Original><Instrumental><Orchestral> Forest Sunset

Postby cybermusic » 05 Jul 2012 08:24

This is my second musical post ever!
Another thing is this is the first composition I have ever made in my pitiful existence on this planet XD.
It reminds me of Everfree or camping while watching the sun go down. You decide on that. Feel free to leave any feedback of any sort.
Many thanks!

Really like the intro, the simple melody of those strings that repeat throughout the piece adds a nice mood to the piece overall. I think t he mix could use a little reverb to add to the atmosphere, and also, pan some of the instruments a little to give the piece a sense of space. I think the string section could use some stereo enhancement, and if you don't know what that means, it's just duplicating the channel, and having the two channels delayed a little, and panned separately. If you're using FL studio, there's a simple tool for this called appropriately, stereo enhancer. If your not using Fl Studio, then I don't know what your DAW equivalent would be, but there is a free one included in this effects package.

Had a lot of subtle variation, but I feel like the piece doesn't progress much, it finds a comfortable spot and stays there, which made me feel a little impatient. Other then that, the instrumentation itself is solid.

I do not use fl studio so I don't know jack really XD. Thanks for your opinion though. I meant theft the piece to be a bit constant and die off as the sun sets hence the name. Thanks for he feedback though even though I cannot get much out of it due to the fact I do not use to studio but yank you for your time! :)
