Triangle Appreciation Thread

Postby Makkon » 03 Jul 2012 23:58

You all know Triangle. He's funny, with amazing energy and a surprisingly strong will. I personally feel that he's often misunderstood and under-appreciated; I can't say he's never made me mad. But what I can say is that he's been a good friend to me for all this time.

Triangle, this thread is dedicated to you, for being an awesome guy, and being genuine, and helpful to everyone you've met, even if they didn't get your sense of humor. Thank you for talking with me on skype all those long months, and for sharing all of your knowledge with me. You've been a wonderful friend, and I'm sorry I haven't been as good of a friend back.

Triangle, I must confess that sometimes I feel like I'm using you for your resources. Thus, I apologize. You are a fantastic member of this community -- always willing to help anyone who asks with anything they ask about. I'd like to thank you for sharing your knowledge with me. Honestly, you are a good portion of my accumulated music know-how. Thank you for being an amazing guy and keep on rockin'

I bloody love Triangle.
I love the music he makes, and I love collabing with him on little silly songs, it's really fun!
I also owe a lot to him, I wouldn't have the programs and VSTs I have now without him, and he;s hlped me a lot on the way in terms of teaching me how to use these VSTs and programs, and just generally giving feedback.
Speaking of which, I love the way he gives feedback! He's a really honest person, so instead of sugarcoating things, he can just plainly say "this part here sounds bad" which is probably some of the most useful feedback ever.
His sense of humour is great, and I love his trollishness, never fails to entertain me.
He's always so helpful about everything to everyone, teaching people how to use things and helping them ahem... acquire the things they need xD
Oh yeah and I love playing online games with him.
Also, he has a great accent!!!!!!!!!!

Hell, I wish I talked to Triangle more, given the opportunity of course, but otherwise he's helped me out in a bind as well.

He's a great dude to talk to! He's appreciative of criticism, he's always there when somebody needs to acquire a specific sound, the few times I talked to him on voice chat he's been just a great guy to be with.

Except he burned down my treehouse, and I will never forget that.

Hell yeah! I can't say that I know you that well, but what I know about you are all good things.
A frieindly, generous and supportive guy. The day I realised that you actually composed aswell sort of blew my mind.
"I also owe a lot to him, I wouldn't have the programs and VSTs I have now without him"

Hahaha xD As silly as that sounds, it's actually very true.
Thank you Triangle for being so generous and helpful towards the community. We owe you one, buddy!
I love music, and this show. I hope that my stay here will inspire others just as you inspire me.

I personally logged into my old MLR account just to reply to this thread... and I forgot I even had an account on this.
Triangle is one of my favorite people to exist. He is one of the nicest people ever, even though I struggle to understand his smart humor ( I am slow ) he never fails to bring a smile to everyone he knows. I would not be anywhere without him. He helped me with my depression a few months back, and I will always be looking for ways to repay such a great deed. Whenever I struggle with VST, DAWS, etc ( I still don't get VST stuff ) I always ask him for help first. He is always willing to help me whenever I ask! Triangle, You are awesome. Ya know what... I am dedicating my next ambient song to you, Triangle.

I thought ya'll really meant the shape itself.
I've always considered it a trigon myself though. I mean, it has more than two sides so it's a polygon right. And the tri because of three... but uh, yea... it wasn't really anything about that,
guess I'll just get going then...

Who is he and how did he help make music making easier? Or at least, for ya'll 7_7, music making was already easy.

He made a fake thread in the Technique section asking for help not too long ago and, not knowing who he is, I tried to actually help him.

Then someone enlightened me and I felt really dumb :?

I love Triangle because he comes to me with music theory questions, usually about chords. I LOVE ranting about that stuff! I'm probably going to just become a theory teacher at a university and everyone will hate me because I'm a theory professor!

Also, NES Triangle is so amazing!

Triangle is the type of brony every brony SHOULD know. I'm not surprised some of you don't know him, though. We can't all be that lucky.

Add him on skype. Seriously. Not to get advice. Not to "acquire" certain "things." No, simply to talk. He's a stellar man and you all would love him.

I remember at one point a while back, he told me that I was the only one who actually talks to him and that kinda made me really upset for him because he really is a great guy and Y'ALL SHOULD TALK TO HIM OK JUST DO IT ;A;
