Okay, so like, most of my music is horribly butchered by the sound of my drums which I have to compress the crap out of to make them "pop to the front", but that can effect everything else, and sometimes will cause a static-y sound and I really hate that. I use drums from the Touhou soundfont, and just the fact that they're from a game soundfont is bad enough, but the only other ones I have are the FL default drum packs, which work for me even worse. I've searched for free drums, but I can never find any good ones, so long story short,

I need free drums! I need to know that they work good too, because I'm tired of downloading free bad ones, especially soundfont ones. Yes, I've also tried the other things that come with FL Studio such as Drumaxx and whatever, they always end up buried under the other sounds.

I went back to using the Touhou drum soundfont because I figured out how to make it all sound even better and there's a huge variety of sounds lol ^_^'. But I'll still come here just to find some extra things if I happen to feel like having more drum sounds. Anyways, this is now a cool thread for sharing free drums (sorry, don't remember where I got my main ones).

There's a whole world of free samples on http://www.freesound.org. The only stipulation with most of them is that you're required to provide attribution when you use them (stating "some samples provided by [name]" would do). Look up a free drum pack called 362 Progressive House Samples. Great stuff.

Yup, those sound like Pendulum drums.

The sad part is, is that I didn't have to look to know what they were, i guessed it right the first time; I would suggest processing them some more so they don't sound so... Obvious? For lack of a better word.

If you want more drum samples, there is also plenty of free sample packs here that are pretty good. Most of them are designed to be layered with other things and may need some extra effects to make them shine.

I'm pretty sure there's a torrent for Deadmou5's Xfer sample pack floating around. That's how I got it, anyway. It's a great pack for house/dance/electro music.
