The Lesser Knowns II (Official Thread) [participants closed]

As much as the last Album was totally awesome, and we have yet to see the effect it will have on our popularity and such, the whole process of writing for this album was fun for all who participated, and we all made tons of new friends, got new music skill (smapling lol) and had fun. So, in order to help bring more people into this great experience, The Lesser Knowns Album #2 will be starting now.

For anyone who thinks they're good at music, but have difficulties with publicity, this could be your chance to get more exposure! And you’ll also make friends and help contribute to a charity donation as well!

We will be accepting anyone who signs up before July 6th. Should you sign up, you will be required to make a track WiP by at least July 27th. This work in progress can be submitted as many times as you want afterwards, and will be given reviews, and constructive criticism by other members, and some of the artists from TLK1. This reviewing can be done as many times as you need it, but the final track will be due on August 8th, for the release on August 10th. That gives you 6 weeks to complete your tracks. 1. Your formal Artist name. not the shortened one that’s your username or anything, YOUR FULL NAME THAT YOU WANT ON THE ALBUM.

2. If you have Youtube, Soundcloud, EQBeats, Brony Musician Directory, or whatever account you want to be associated with your name on the album, please send them to me. This will help viewers find you if they’re interested in your track.

3. For when you want to get reviews on your WiP, or if you want to help other people with theirs, you can join the Soundcloud group, or the Two skype Chats. Add me on Skype (Username: Belgerum09) and I can add you to the Official skype chat for TLK2, the old chat for TLK1, and if you really want to, the NSFW “Serious Business” thread where nothing important happens, and people screw off. AS much as I do appreciate people's willingness to participate, I'm going to say right now that if you don't PM me with your artist info, you won't get on the album. So far, Pencil Erasor has PM'd me, so he's the only confirmed participant so far.

Sorry if this is a hassle, but I'm just trying to make this a little more organized than the first album.

Though yes, it is advised that if you plan to be on this album, start as early as possible.

I'll probably stay in the skype chat or whatever (more on that later) as will many of the participants in the first album. We'll be here to provide assistance for any of your music-related issues.

Even though my song was pretty terrible (at least in comparison to the others), I still had great fun participating in the making of Volume 1 (which was awesome). Don't worry if you feel like you're not good enough for it, we're all nice, helpful people. Even if you aren't good enough for it (much like me) you'll receive nothing but constructive criticism of your work. No one's here to make anyone feel bad.

Guys, don't worry about not being good enough. The whole point on this is to get recognized for the achievements that you HAVE made. Along the way, you learn a whole hell of a lot about music.
