Hello everypony!

This is my first verse about an OC Pony that I collaborated on with a Twitter Friend. She came up with the concept and drew the art, and in response I made a 16 bar verse.

It was fun challenging myself to writing lyrics based off of an OC that was developed with another person.

I'm gonna go ahead and say (if nobody else has yet), that maybe investing in a better mic is in order. But that doesn't quite get in the way of how good the actual rapping is. I just wish there were more of it

You sir are the most right. I feel like everyone else has a great microphone setup. If you have any cost-effective suggestions, I'm very much willing to listen.

I currently use an MX-990 USB.

First off, nice flow, man!

I just picked up a microphone recently (MXL-991) and have it set up in my closet.
Heh, I think it works.

Another thing is to know what your microphone is good at doing.
I found out my microphone is good for overhead recording, so guess where it's placed.


I'm completely new at all of this and cant stress that enough though, so take what you can. xD

Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking in the case of this song I also discovered my recording volume was higher, and I think that lead to slight distortion... which I guess is great if I was an electric guitar. But yeah, I'll do more research and see how I can maximize the use of it. Good idea with the closet!
