Well guys, I need your remixing skills! I'm releasing a new album on August 14th, and on that day I'll be releasing a deluxe version of the album as well. This deluxe version will feature remixes that I have done, bonus tracks, and.... YOUR REMIXES!

Yup, that's where you come in. I need remixes of a few of my songs! The top 5 songs will make it on the album, and he's what each winner gets:

1st place: A place on the deluxe version of “From All Sides”, the remix and a link to your work featured on my YouTube channel, a free copy of the album, and a chance to collaborate with me!

2nd place: A place on the deluxe version of “From All Sides”, a free copy of the album, and a link to your work on my YouTube channel.

3rd place: A place on the deluxe version of “From All Sides”, a free copy of the album, and a cookie.

4th and 5th place: A place on the deluxe version of “From All Sides”, and a free copy of the album.

If there's one thing this community does well it's remixes. This contest is all about fun and trying your hand at something new! While the top 5 remixes WILL be on my album, any remix you make for the contest is your own. You can give it to people, sell it, copy it, destroy it, or do whatever. xD

Deadline is July 25th! That's a good little while to make some awesome stuff. When you're done, just submit your remix to me via email. My address is [email protected].

I saw this a while ago from Elspongie's remix. I've got a start that I really like. Don't expect to win with all of the talented names I saw that were entering this, such as H_8 Seed, Silva Hound, WoodenToaster, and others, but it'll certainly be fun. Heck, it already is.

A Remix is anything that uses elements from the original song, preferably vocals. Matthew, if you wanted to do a whole new acoustic version with new vocals and everything, I'd be willing to re-record some stuff for you. I know you make good music, and I'd love to have some acoustic stuff on the album!

Or you can just remix a song using stems like everyone else. Whatever floats your boat. xD

So I'm definitely gonna try for this! Sounding interesting already.

BUT...

You might be getting a lot more than what you asked for from me.

I'm having too much fun with covering Monster, Friendship, One Last Letter, and Fear of Flight. Also, I just had the bold idea to make a sort of "Aviators in Review" song. One song. Mix of a bunch of them. No guarantees, but theoretically it should work. Either way, this will be fun.

Ambient is fine! You can do any genre you'd like. The one thing I should warn you about is the interesting factor... Ambient can get very boring very quickly. If it's done right, it can be AMAZING, but just make sure you put enough interesting little things in there to keep the listener's attention. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
