You may want to turn up your speakers a teensy bit with this. I have a habit of making things a bit quiet.

I nearly forgot I was a member here.

But anyways, here's my first instrumental track I made. It was originally an entry for the 30 minute music challenge on tumblr but I liked it so much I decided to make a full song out of it.
Granted it does get a bit repetitive but overall, I am quite pleased with this and very proud of myself.

It only took a couple days to make which is actually a new record for me! =P (don't know exact amount of hours, though)

As for the title? Well, before going along and creating a full song out of my 30mmc entry, I tried to come up with a theme. I already had the frame drums and tambourines in there so I thought I should base it off of the Everfree forest. But the Everfree forest is rather dark and scary which didn't match the peaceful tune of my entry, so how can I make the Everfree peaceful? By changing the setting from the middle of the night (which is where we usually see the forest) to a more peaceful time like sunrise. After all, I'd imagine a completely different set of creatures during the day that aren't as frightening as the ones at night (hydra excluded).

tldr: i made music

Interesting.
... May I ask, how to attach youtube videos in a post? (FLASH option is off for me)...
I apologize if my comment is pointless on the matter of your music (which is really entertaining and worth to listen).

When yo make a post in the full editing mode, you should see a button that says 'youtube'.
Press that and stick the full youtube url of the video between the bbcode.
And thanks! ^^

I quite like how you panned the percussion, it makes for a really neat stereo image :D Actually, this is really quite good... (Would you ever consider letting me remix it?)

In terms of critique, I'd normally say for something so simple... That it's too simple, and you need more noise going on, but this is true chill music, so I'd say it can get away with that, especially given the structure. And maybe a little bass, nothing much, just enough to fill out the spectrum a tad.

But all in all, this is a very nice track. You have earned a sub, my good man :D
Youtube -- Soundcloud -- Tumblr -- Bandcamp (new album out!)

I can't feel my brain.

I'd be happy to let you remix this if you'd like to! I'm still very much new to this music business so nobody has ever considered remixing my work. After all, pony music is my first step into this river and wouldn't have thought a year ago that I would even consider making music.

And thanks for the critique! I really appreciate that! I do see what you mean by simplicity, though. But like I said above, I am still new to this and complexity is a beast I have yet to conquer. That and bass, I've always been told that I need more bass. =P

And thank you! =D
