Colour Album Submission [FINISHED]

Greetings, everypony! This is an independent album idea that is solely created for fun. It's free. I'll cover a ton about this album project, how to get involved, etc...

Requirements: be in possession of a SoundCloud profile (don't worry, almost everypony has one and they cost nothing). Also, don't suck at music production. Eeeehhh..... that's about it, honestly.

The idea: This will be a 15-song album focused on the more melodic aspects of electronically produced music. To give an idea, Balloon Party's way lesser known, evil twin. THIS DOES NOT MEAN, HOWEVER, THAT YOU ARE LIMITED TO SOFT, ORCHESTRAL MUSIC (although that is obviously acceptable). You can make any genre, but the judgement of the song will not be biased on how "hard" it is, how "happy" it is, how "pony" it is. It is biased on the how cleverly you can create an original song with a distinct melody. Even dubstep is acceptable.

Other miscellaneous answers to expected questions:

When is the due date?: Assuming we have 15+ songs by August 23rd, August 23rd. I may extend it just to see what more people may contribute.

How will this be released?: Hopefully, you guys will advertise your own song on your own YouTube, SoundCloud, etc... It will also be released as a free download on a promotional YouTube channel.

What kind of music?: Anything! Pony and nonpony are both welcome.

May I release this as my own before the album release?: Sure. Balloon Party wouldn't allow it, frankly I don't care.

Collabs allowed?: Encouraged, in fact. Just make it good.

Remixes allowed?: Sadly, no. This is focused on original work. Also, the promotional channel won't allow remixes, and I don't want people associated with copyright getting butthurt. You do have permission to use samples, though.

How much attention will this get (because you know how much attention I need!)?: Probably not a whole lot. This is mostly for people who are bored and willing to do stuff. I, myself am taking time out of my schedule to submit one of my own songs (and me being the judge, I accept it).

What if I can't get something cool done before the deadline?: I am being generous here. If you show me your work in progress and I find that to be acceptable, I may extend it.

Can we bribe the judge?: Only with food.

Do you like cheez-its?: Meh.

How many people will make it?: 14 people will be selected to participate in the Hunger Ga- er, I mean, album. If only 13 people submit, then everypony automatically makes it, regardless of how terrible it sounds.

I am artistically illiterate. I would say something that comes leaping to mind when you think of "Colour" or "Melodic". Maybe something badass looking, but not scary. Maybe Watercolour styled where it looks blurry and stuff? No idea. Just submit something original of your creation and I can be the judge of whether or not it's good (I have very low artistic standards, by the way).

Not a completely random name. It's focused around the originality of how you create your music, how memorable the music is, and the genius behind the creation of the song. It needs to be musically "colourful" in a sense. Not sure if that makes any sense to you.
