So yeah, I've been having severe writer's block as of late, but I have this strange urge to make a song. Any ideas on what should happen with this song? I know I have to quantize Applejack's part and pitch shift some of Pinkie's, but other than that? I can't even think of what to do with this song at the moment. I'll take any bit of advice at this point . Yeah, my writer's block is BAAAAD right about now, haha.

Well this is pretty good man. Maybe add some effects on the voice (seems a bit plain) as they just aren't quite right but I like the instruments and the groove you have going. I like the BBBF add in. I think overall the vocals are too low and buried in the mix. Work on Eq'ing them better and that will automatically louder in the mix and maybe some reverb. I know this track is a little minimal and repetitive. BUT I like what you have here and I can't say this track has been done this way before (although obviously a highly covered original track). You could move parts around to make it a little more unique sounding and I'd definitely a fade at the end and perhaps something going on at the beginning (maybe a beat lead in and out dj style). Otherwise you're not really that far off from completion. You could always do risers and drops and make it more complex musically but then again I don't know if that would truly help a track that otherwise mostly works.
