We found out about this community through the "Balloon Party" project - it is too amazing.
We want to be a part of it and would love to know what you all think about our stuff!

I can't give much when it comes to tips because I am a fairly inexperienced musician, but what I can say is that I'm sure the community would love to have you! I checked out some of your music there on SoundCloud and I found it very impressive.
One thing I'm wondering about though is your motivation for joining My Little Remix. As far as I know, everyone here is both a musician (or aspiring musician) and a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Of course, this is a music forum first and foremost, but if you've just now found out about the community through Balloon Party, surely that means you've just found out about what the community's members are bound together by as well?
I'm only asking, I'm probably not the best person to talk to. Like I said, I'm new here too! :)

I do not know a whole lot of the details behind this community other than the awesome music - but I would love to find out!
And just because some of our music goes hard, does not mean we are non-friendly people

Ultimately as said we're musicians first and bronies second. Ultimately you need to be both. Ultimately we don't want you to feel like Applejack at Canterlot trying to sell apple treats and wondering why no one's buying. Any questions just let us know.

I really new to the whole music scene, but if you like ponies, I'm sure you'll fit in here. Regardless of your opinion on ponies, I have to commend you on some of your tracks, the Levels/Somebody I Use To Know remix was brilliant.
