I believe that we've been through this. I suppose 19 artists is enough.

I've sent out messages to the 6 Bronies who have not posted anything to Soundcloud. If we get these guys in the group, we will have all the WiPs in one convenient place.

Once again, just for the sake of making sure everyone gets it, here is the current to-do list for everyone. If any of you have not done one of the following, please do so ASAP.

1. Check the participants list in my sig on MLR. Something wrong, tell me.
2. Send a high-quality download of your WiP to Legion2190 (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=840), for the promotional vid.
3. Send your contact details (YouTube, Soundcloud) to Matthew N. (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1328) For giving credit once we release the album.
4. Try to spend SOME time reviewing the work of others on soundcloud. Especially those with no comments yet. We want to make sure everyone feels included! And if you haven't posted your WiP to the group yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR. http://soundcloud.com/groups/mlr-lesser-knowns/
5. Work on improving your WiP, of course!

6. We need to decide on a charity. If anyone wants to set up a vote, or present options, please do so. I suggest Playing for Change, but you are all free to voice your opinions.

I get the feeling (read: know) that this is going to be totally overshadowed by Balloon Party for a while. Should we extend the release date so that this will actually get noticed, or do we not have one yet?

EDIT: And my brother is preeeeety great with Photoshop. I'm sure he would be able to make us a pretty sweet logo.

I agree, especially seeing as right now we're scrambling to organize this whole thing.

The final product submission date is June 18th, but that doesn't mean we need to release it immediately. We could wait a couple weeks or so before releasing it, that way we can make sure we have everyone's track, organize a track list, figure out a charity and contact different promotional sources and all that good stuff. That way right now we don't have to freak out so much about having so little time.

tl;dr: holding off on the release date for a bit will result in better planning and less stress.

I completely agree with this, lets worry about our tracks now and give help to everyone else and when the deadline comes we can discuss charities and ways of promoting it.
