In other words, you're not alone.

I feel like you're taking this a little seriously.

Taking this seriously? Well... in case of threads that interest me and a lot of other people - yes; in case of random threads - obviously not, as - if you haven't noticed - it was a quote from the show that was far from being serious.
This, my friends, is why you never attempt to be humorous when you have no sense of humor.
As you've probably noticed, my dry humor doesn't seem to communicate over the internet.

it seems that way maybe we need more mods?
DJ Pon-3 wrote:A couple things you guys need to take note of. The mods job is not to visit and patrol each and every thread. It's not. If you see spam happening YOU NEED TO FLAG IT.
That ! in the bottom right is how you would have a mod take action. It's up to everyone that when they see spam, see people calling other user's out inappropriately (the derailment in the hugging and venting thread), or see excess compliaining (which caused the EqD thread to be locked) that they need to be proactive and flag it. Don't wait for a mass thread to be locked, don't wait for a mod to happen to notice; if you see something not matching the spirit of rym take action and speak up and flag it if you need to.
I'll be honest I have noticed in the last couple weeks there are very few familar faces of people I used to see as regulars and many more brand new people. That's not a bad thing as long as the changes in MLR aren't causing a mass exodus of people who have been here awhile. We need our veteran members to real keep the continuity of this place and the spirit alive. It's a shame that when you look through the first several pages of the introduction thread you see alll the people that created brony music and practically none of them are here anymore. That was before my time and that honestly sucks that's the case. This place shouldn't encourage a constant turnover of people and it should encourage a certain level of professionallism. That's up to all of us to see that through.
What I'm saying is let's continue to take care of rym if we appreciate what it is and if we care about it. That means positive criticism (some good, some bad) in the music threads and actually replying to people who've posted their music there, not just ignoring them. Meaningful threads about music and more interesting discussions. I don't welcome more brony musicians I just care about the quality music of the music remaining high. MLR is always about quality above quantity and if that flips I worry if it's good for anyone.
Sorry about the diatribe but this seems on-topic.

And while i'm of the new members that DJ Pon-3 mentioned, i also feel sad that older member have all but disappeared. I would have enjoyed not only the more activity that the more members bring but also the experience that they've had here. When older members leave it always makes the place seem more old and empty.
