I unfortunately may have to drop out, the severity of my procrastination with my schoolwork has just made itself apparent, I now have a week to complete a month's worth of work. not in one class, but two.

In other words, I will probably not have a song ready for the WIP deadline, I'm sorry guys.

This also means I will be dropping off the grid until I'm no longer staring down the barrel of a gun so to speak, whenever that will be I have no idea, hopefully very soon.

That's one of the many reasons I dislike school. It gets in the way of your interests. It seems like they don't want you to have any free time whatsoever. Sorry to hear that school has given you a crap load of work to do. Hope you get it done on time!

what kind of music do you do?

Whatever I feel like at the time. Sometimes dubstep, sometimes dance, sometimes house, sometimes something that I don't even know what to classify it as. Things like that. Sometimes I even have ideas for rock songs that I wanna make. (I don't do rock. Not yet at least. I'm planning on learning to play the guitar next year.)

I'm certainly going to miss the deadline. I have to go to my grandparent's house again. No recording can be done there. I will still make the song, it will just be 3 months late (because of my other collab).

Belgerum and I both have pretty much finished our songs, so we're remixing each other's tracks and were wondering if we could submit the remixes to the album.

I'm going to reply to this issue even though I really shouldn't forego my school work to do so:

I don't see why not. If you want you can release both the originals and the remixes to the album.
However, whenever the album is finally put in track order, I suggest that your remixes be put as the last tracks of the album, which is generally where remixes and/or special editions/edits of songs go.

tl;dr why not? go for it, we'll probably all figure it out when the tracklist is being finalized

It appears that, despite my best efforts, I was in way over my head on this one. There's just no way I'm going to be able to finish my song for the deadline.

Yeah, that's the WIP date, and the final deadline is two weeks after that, which would be June 18th.
