I haven't used Reaktor 5 myself but I have heard good praise about it

I wasn't comparing the two. I was talking specifically in terms of guitar effects. Keep asking questions and I will derail this thread! Just kidding.

I use a KORG AX3G with the output going into my mixing desk and the the out put of my desk going into a USB audio interface...

It's a Guitar Effects Modulator so it depends on the effect but It's pretty sweet has 40 presets and 40 customs :D
