This morning I was recruited to DJ a school event next Wednesday, and I was specifically instructed to use somewhat mellow music. Currently, the most aggressive song I have is the Bassnectar remix of Lights, and the rest is pretty much completely relaxing.

I also happen to have a couple of tracks by me and other brony artists in my prospective tracklist, and this would be where you guys come in. Basically, anything chill that you have, preferably in a BPM range of 90-140, if you want me to work it into my mix. I dunno if it'll do anything huge in the way of gaining popularity, but I'd personally just be happy knowing something of mine was 'out there' to some extent. (Also, I'll try to record the mix and post it on my Youtube, so anyone who wants to can check it out afterwards.)

So yeah, who wants to be mixed by yours truly?

Maybe... Though I've always thought JA's singing was a bit... off. Besides, this was more of a 'you sbmit your own tracks' kind of thing :D

Well, there's my newer track, "Ink Splash", but I dunno. Maybe? Also, it's 175 bpm, so yeah.

sure I'll dump some links in here: http://soundsfromsci.bandcamp.com/album ... ocognition

or if you want pony music: http://soundsfromsci.bandcamp.com/album ... pony-music

pretty much anything from those albums is chill. :3

if you need to know the BPM for a certian track, I can tell you that (except for "The Ringing Lies").

Check out tracks that were featured in A State Of Brony, I keep the mixes in convenient single place - http://soundcloud.com/hmage/sets/asob -- every one of them has a tracklist.

Should it be pony or non-pony? =w=

Well, the brony music I have so far is either instrumental or only very subtly pony (I'm using instrumental versions of tracks by Codeum and Princess Addictia, just because I get the feeling that a room full of seniors wouldn't entirely appreciate sliced up pony vocals). So if you define pony as using samples or vocals from the show, non-pony might be on the safe side of things.

And to everyone who's replied, thanks a ton! If this keeps up, I should have no problem finalizing my setlist.

This is probably my most chill track, and if the vocals don't work out, here's a link to the instrumental download: http://www.mediafire.com/?bin4a2ihw0p8bd5

Here's also a link to my most recent song instrumental, because I have a feeling they won't appreciate songs about love and tolerance ;)

Enough to fill up at most 2 hours. I don't know if the mix will end up needing to last that long, but better safe than scrambling to find another track to queue up.

I do have an emergency plan B, however: Drop Lightspeed by KTN and Datsik, then go from there with crazy-ass electro house, just to mess with everyone. But I'm trying to get something together. My current tracklist is 20 strong, but I probably still need at least 10 more, assuming I don't cut any track short.

It's a pretty even balance of brony music (not pony music, because I'm playing for a room full of mostly-stupid high school seniors) and big-name acts like deadmau5 and Feed Me.

The VIP is my intro, and it leads into one of Facade's tracks, and from there I drop Excision's single chill track, '2005.' And so on and so forth.

I don't think I'll actually have a video, I'm just gonna record the mix as I'm doing it, then post it up with a single image, unless someone wants to make a spectrum visual for up to two hours of music

I'll put how it went over in the vid's description, I guess, but I doubt there'll be much reaction, considering that it's a chill set designed to be more of a backdrop than anything else. I think they'll catch the deadmau5, but not much else.
