I'm currently working on what might end up being my second completed song, and it's certainly my most complex project yet. It probably isn't complex at all by normal standards, but I mean, it's more complex than anything else I have made. I was really hoping to get some constructive criticism or maybe even some tips that I could use to improve on what I have, but I'm hesitant to just ask because I'm sure there are plenty of better ways that everyone can be using their time. If anyone would be willing to listen and give any sort of opinion though I would truly appreciate it. You definitely don't have to if you don't want to.

By the way, the bit at the end of my work in progress is just a message from Twilight about the state of the song, and probably won't be in the final version. :)

DAMNIT. I was gonna write a song called "Clock is Ticking." Oh well. I dunno what to say because I'm really bad at giving advice. Anyway, keep it up.

I could always change the name of the song, it's only a work in progress of course. If anything, that wasn't the final name anyway, just a general idea. In fact, I'll probably think of a more fitting name later on, so you can go ahead and use that name. It's not like I own it or anything anyway, it's just what Twilight says in the bit I used. And it's okay if you don't have any advice to give, thanks a bunch for replying.

It's fine either way. It doesn't matter if you change the name or not. I still like the general idea of it. The reason I said that was because when you made the name of the song "Clock is Ticking", it reminded me of a project I want to start. However, I am very lazy and will probably not start it for a while.

I like this. Real upbeat and energetic :D

It kinda screams Pinkie Pie to me, and since it's a super energetic song, how about "Sugar Rush"?

Your levels
Turn them down
Turn them ALL down

You're pushing the limiter waaaaaaaaaay too much, everything's all distorted and it generally hurts to listen to. You're running FL studio right? There's a limiter pre-put on the master track, if anything gets too loud it'd normally clip but because of the limiter it just reduces the levels, if you push it too much it becomes distorted and downright ugly, just like this.

Turn down the delay on your piano, it's way too much atm, or at least turn down the levels on the feedback, when it gets more intense it gets just as painful as the limiter pushing.

2:29 probably has to be the least painful part, it's those basses and the supersaws that cause everything to get so distorted

The whole song sounds like everything is competing for volume, the volume of nothing sounds constant.

The compositions fine (at least the parts that came through clear without all the fuzz and aaaah) but dude, PLEASE look into some mixing tutorials. This would be a good song but at the moment it is painful to listen to, simply painful - and I cannot word that any nicer.

Ah man, I just noticed that

I tried listening to this on a separate computer, and it just totally blew my eardrums apart

There's probably something wrong with my laptop's speakers, it's quiet, way too quiet, I was working on the project at full volume and it still seemed too quiet.

Thanks, and I'll try fixing some parts when I got time. :)

Something I've been working on! Any suggestions? It's super early in the making, so this might not even stay the same, but whatever!

Working on a collab with ElectroKasplosion and Flutter Bully about Octavia. Here's a crappy version with a slightly outdated and very quiet instrumental, no chorus, and unmastered rapping that is going to be re-recorded anyways (a pretty mediocre take IMO, no offense to him). And here I thought we were going to finish this thing up a couple days ago.

Edit: NO WIP FOR YOU
