Okay, so I don't really have a name for this (I'm terrible at naming my songs). I got this idea while listening to "It's About Time AcousticBrony!", so it's influenced by that just a little bit.

Still needs some mastering/mixing work, but I'll get to it. I would have contributed this to the "Lesser Knowns" event thing, but apparently mine and Matthew_N's collab will count as a track for both of us, so I'm posting this WIP here for now.

If I find out that I can still contribute a song along with the collab, then I'll go ahead and put this there.

It could use a lot of eqing to free up space and keep everything crystal clear. Your low end is quite muddy and I believe the kick sample is causing it, it sounds like there is reverb on the kick and if thats the case you should take it off. You have a nice riff going, I would add more layers of synths to it to fill up empty space behind the mix.

Bumping this with an update. I added a pad, as well as another synth to the background melody, turned down the bass, took the reverb off the master track, added a vocal sample and experimented with glitch stuff *squee*

Since I added some synths, it's possible that the mastering is a bit off. Feedback please!
