Can anybody provide any insight on this mic?

I'm VERY much interested in it, good size and portability for me, but I Take My audio quality like i take my Harry Potter characters. Sirius.

Its gonna be vocals. So much vocals.

I looks at a bunch of stuff. Said cardioid, large diaphragm. this fits all the specs.

Diaphragm size /does/ matter. The larger the diaphragm, the more lower frequencies get picked up, as a general rule of thumb. Small diaphragm condensers are good for a bunch of things, but for vocals, large diaphragm is best.

As far as sound quality goes, unless you can find an actual frequency map of it, nobody's going to know anything about it unless they own one and have used it for a while. The one thing I would be worried about is the little tripod stand. Unless it also comes with something to clip or screw onto mic stands, you'll be stuck recording at your desk. And that more than likely means recording into a wall, which generally isn't the best place to be recording things.

It does have a screw or something for a mic stand, which used to be something i never left home without.
SO, yeah, microphone stand/something other than desk+wall=check.
