Bass effects and stuff like that

So, I've been messing around with Massive in FL studio and making some presets, but I don't really like what I'm making. I want to go for more of an xKore sound (like in scumbag), but I have no idea what he uses to get his bass to rumble like that.

I tried different effects but they don't sound right to me.

Is there something native to FL that I can use? or is there something I can download?

I tried that for a while and started using automation on a filter for my bass but after a week of that I realized I'm too lazy to keep up with that lol

I'd imagine that with some compression and/or light distortion, and a sub-bass, you could make that wobble bass sound really rumbly. Some more EQing would work, too -- maybe if you subtract some of the mids? I dunno.

It's also a matter of register, too. The bass in the song you linked is actually /really/ low -- lower than the one you use. If you could have an oscillator dip an octave below the rest of the bass and then highpass it so it doesn't sound muddy, then you should be able to get something similar.

What Versilaryan said. The song you linked has way more treble than your's, so distortion may be the way to go.
Also do I hear a comb filter? Modulation reduces high frequencies, so you may want to boost them a bit. Or take it off completely and try automating an EQ band with LFO if you want something oscillating slowly in the high end.

Same here. I can never be bothered learning how to make stuff with Massive because I use 3xOsc too much.
