Well, if we're gonna go ahead and start posting, I might as well throw mine up here, since it's already been done for a couple weeks. Nothing huge in the extra stuff department, it's more in the vein of Noisia's remix of Scary Monsters - different meat on pretty much the same skeleton. (Make of that what you will, I sort of forgot what I was trying to say there.)

Ah we posting on this thread? Ok then here is mine. Just went for a simple mashup but put a lot of effort into it as well as frustration on finding out how my DAW works... So for a first project i think it turned out alright.

I mustered up something. I might have taken a bit too much freedom with this though. I meandered through a lot of different genres and styles before settling on some Moombahcore-ish thing.

I'm not fond of mixing and mastering and I tend to make everything worse the more i tweak.

So mine won't be done by the 18th, I just got kinda stuck on it (and mildly frustrated) and then started work on another project. But I'm still planning to finish it/make it awesome. I actually have learned a ton from working on my most recent song (the one that's distracted me from everything else). Is there any sort of tentative second deadline yet (for the EP)?

2noponies: I'm considering whether or not to put your song in More Nightmares and Nights EP. As much as I like it, the fact that it's a mashup makes me feel like I'll be making money off of the work of somebody else, and that bothers me. Thoughts?
