Chording

Postby Captain Ironhelm » 26 Apr 2012 21:39

Among my ample horde of musical weaknesses, my chording stinks like an empty pond full of dead fish.

For instance, I really don't know anything about chord progressions, or what notes I'm allowed to put in songs, or how often to switch chords.

Often I get clashing sounds when I start adding more and more instrument tracks (i.e. in my Chrysalis' Love Feast I did a lot better, but it still clashes.)

Thank you so much. I've been looking for a decent site that explains music theory for a while, looks like that's a good one.

I found the Navy Band music theory book, so I should be good for a while.
