Organ

Postby Legion » 11 Apr 2012 19:16

I just came out of a bit of writers block and had an awesome idea for a hip hop song. Problem is, I can't get a good organ sound at all. I'm seriously stumped. Can anybody recommend a good VST for it? Something that would make sense in hip hop, as vague of a definition as that is. Thanks in advance for any help!

I use Goliath's Church Organ for any organ stuff I do...but I don't know whether that's hip-hoppy? Still, if that helps, then woo!
But there's loads of Organ vsts out there, try googling it!

I got this thing called 'DirtBag' which might do the trick:

Just scroll down a bit.

Oh! And it's free! ^^

^^^ This right here. This did the trick perfectly, thanks. I'm also definitely checking out Dr Dissonance's suggestion.

I see you've already found one. But if you're looking for a hammond organ type sound, try organized trio. It's a must have for my recent works.

Seconded. Ever since I heard it on Mumble's work I knew I had to get it.
