With a loud thud, she hit the ground, cringing and crying.
"Fluttershy darling!", Rarity screamed as she ran towards the hurt pegasus. Blood smoothly seeped out of the black wound, coloring Fluttershys fur the tint of a ripe tomato.
Rarity tore of a piece of her dress with tears in her eyes. She slammed it against the wound, making the young pegasus scream a chilling scream.
The rest of Raritys dress was covered in traces of blood, weither it was her own or dragon blood Twilight didn't know. She hoped it was the latter.
"Twilight, we need to retreat! We are sitting ducks out her!", Rainbow Dash screamed at the lavender unicorn.
Twilight knew Dash was correct; out here in the open they were going to be decimated by the dragons sooner or later, no matter what they did. Retreating was an option; an option that would
mean the destruction of Ponyville... and it's citizens.
She was a good leader and strategist in normal cases. When questions related to her friends small problems, she never hesitated. She always knew what she had to say.
She was never good at big questions.
"No Dash. I am afraid we can't do that.", she said, feeling tears bubbling up inside of her. She was afraid; afraid she wouldn't se Celestia, Luna or anyone else again.
"If we go, Ponyville will be destroyed. The citizen will die. "
Silence. In the distance you could hear the dragons roaring. It echoed.
"We need to buy Celestia and her troops more time to get to Ponyville."
"Prepare yourself girls. We make our final stand here!"
So yeah, the text above is what i had in mind when composing this tune. My second battle/war/combat related song in a row; i'll make sure to make someting different this time.
I tried to mix three genres in this song. Orchestral, Metal/Hard-rock and electronical. It is rather lacking in the rock departement, but i am overall rather happy with it. Any feedback, criticism is welcome.
