Postby lunarz » 25 Mar 2012 11:32

Okay so i decided not to mkae music for like 2 days.
I come back to muck around on FL today and its broken.
All the sounds are messed up, everything sounds pixelated, asif it has been poorly bitcrushed.
they all sound like 8 bit machine guns, i know this is a real problem as i tried out some dance saws and they just sound like machine guns.
Could anybody help me please?

Are you using an ASIO driver? You might be overloading your CPU.
Youtube -- Soundcloud -- Tumblr -- Bandcamp (new album out!)

I can't feel my brain.

When you use the ASIO driver you have to make sure that it isn't being used by another application. Once you go to Options>Audio Settings>Show ASIO panel> Reclick everything until it's green.
Check out my stuff.

Does everything else have that problem, or is it only within FL Studios?

Ermrmrm, well, you might check your audio driver settings to see what FL is setting your sample rate to? Maybe it is being bitcrushed? :P

Also, regarding ASIO, have you tried installing ASIO4ALL?
