<Pony><Original> Scootastep (Dubstep)

Postby Scootalootacris » 18 Mar 2012 14:58

Here's my new track which started out as some chill driving music and somehow transformed into this.

All feedback/criticism welcome, I'm just trying to get better:

Crude stew, do you fear it, Apple Bloom? Sometimes life is not a cakewalk served up on a silver spoon.

This is quite awesome and unique to my ears! My only criticism is some of the vocals seem a bit too loud and its a little rough on the mixdown and eqing.

Nice track!

Thank you! :D

I honestly don't have any idea what I'm doing when it comes to mixdown and eq, can you please point me in the direction of how-to's you've found helpful? Any tips from your experience?

Remeber if you truely want to get good with music production you need to do things for yourself on your own time. Thats something I recently learned and it is really important to practice it, but I will show you only really helpful guide on eqing because I hate being a jerk.

I didn't mean to come off as someone not willing to search themselves, I was more trying to pick your brain about things that you personally have found helpful. Sorry about that!

I didn't get that coming from you, I have helded a lot of people recently that want me to show them step by step every single part of my songs and thought process and I know thats not the way to learn, so I was just passing that tip along as well. I am glad you help yourself, sorry for the confusing..
