I decided to make a VIP remix of my remix (remixception?) of Beyond Her Garden (by WoodenToaster) because my original remix didn't get very popular. I also decided I should give electro house one last try; but if this doesn't succeed, I'll be sticking to DnB.

All feedback is welcome; just remember that it is a work in progress and is definitely not final.

I'm thinking this is pretty good, here. I really love that buildup in the beginning, but the Electro House drop didn't necessarily fit with the rest of the track, in my opinion, of course. Still pretty good, and I like it. Also, why give up on Electro House when you may not be too experienced with it? You should keep at it, and get better. Of course, you don't have to, but I think you shouldn't give up on it. Anyways, good luck with the rest of your Drum N Bass and House music, like you said. I'll definitely be waiting.

Thanks for the kind words. I definitely agree with you on the drop; after listening to it quite a few times, it gets repetitive and it just doesn't fit. Not quite sure how I could improve it, because I like the synth I made used for the drop.

I believe I've stated that if I wasn't getting any better at Electro House (and I've been at it for some time now), I should stop trying at it - but I'm starting to think differently. DnB has always been something that I could come up with on-the-fly. It doesn't take much to come up with a good DnB tune, because it's mostly just repetition. Electro House on the other hand, takes more thinking instead of randomly placing notes on a piano roll.

The funny thing is: I can come up with a decent Electro rhythm in my head; but when I get to my desktop with my keyboard, nothing comes out.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I just want to get answers from other musicians :S
