The piano is absolutely beautiful, what did you use to create it?

As for the strings they dont sound too bad imo, I don't make orchestra music so I cant really help you too much. With an EQ you could give a boost the upper frequencies above 1kHz to create some 'air' in the string bus.

I would keep the strings in, as its difficult to create emotion in a sampled piano, and the strings build up the tension in the piece at the right points.

Personally, I like them. The work you put in shows. I also like how the piano is the focus, its good to see the strings taking the background in a piece like this.

Overall, its really tender and beautiful. and I'm considering learning it. Any chance you could link the sheet music? or a MIDI? I can turn a MIDI into sheet music pretty quick :).

Seriously i just think you're being hypercritical. Its amazing and you should be happy.

Man, this piece. It feels like it should belong in some anime or something. I really wanna learn piano now, for things like this and 4'33" by John Cage. Inspiration for a song hath cometh.

This is gorgeous and everyone else has already said it. There's not much else to say here. You're complaints about the strings, while I'm not sure specifically what you were having trouble with... To me the only thing I can hear that could be fixed is it sounds like there's no release on the strings, they just more or less cut off at the note change in the larger part of the middle section. Unless you were going for that, maybe making it so the strings have some decay time and overlap just slightly with the other string notes. Do you know what I mean?

Seriously this is beautiful. I only mention the above because of you saying you had problems. The piano is just so *adjective for gorgeous and beautiful combined times ten.* Yep.

Your DAW doesn't have an export as MIDI?

My god, this is beautiful. I literally cannot come up with anything else to say. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go check out emotional piano...

This is really incredible. The one with strings is unavailable right now, but the piano alone seems to be enough.
