<remix>EpicallyAWSM's Pony Music Compilation

Hey!! If you know me (which I doubt you do), great!

About Me:
I'm a brony musician with previous experience with music production, but I'm still an amateur. My music genres from past projects have included: Drum and Bass, House, and Dance. I started out making good ol' DnB, as I was and still am a huge fan of Pendulum. Eventually, I started moving towards more House (as inspired by artists like Pendulum, Deadmau5, Swedish House Mafia, etc.), but I don't feel like I've gotten very far with that.

I've attempted Electro House before, but I'm really not creative with the awesome glitchy sounds that I've heard from artists like Knife Party and Porter Robinson; so I guess for now I'm sticking to DnB.

My Pony Music:
I have very few songs related to MLP:FiM so far, and 3/5 are remixes (1 is an original WIP, other is more of a parody). I only have the three remixes done and released, so here they are:

http://soundcloud.com/epicallyawsm/avast-fluttershys-ass

The last two I linked to SoundCloud, because they're remastered versions and I haven't re-uploaded them to YouTube yet. The two songs that I haven't posted here are still being worked on in my free time.

Non-Pony Music:
All of my non-pony music can be found on my SoundCloud page.

Well that's it (for now)
I still have music planned; both pony and non-pony. I've been really busy lately, and making music isn't a high priority right now.

I also have plans to make something for Balloon Party, but I don't think I'll have time.

Thanks for taking the time to read this thread and listen to my music :D

Ah, I'm also a pretty big Pendulum fan! Although, admittedly, I haven't listened to them as much as I'd have liked to since I found brony music :P

First song: I've never heard the original and this is the first remix I've listened to, but I enjoyed it quite a bit anyway.

Second song: I thought I was getting sick of Beyond Her Garden. Then I listened to this. Very nicely done, man. Easily my favorite of the three.

Third song: Ooooh boy, haha. I listened to unhealthy amounts of the original when I first heard it, so I was a bit hesitant to listen to this one. I did anyway, and do not regret it. While I'm still sick of the melody, it was very well put together.

Sounds really great! All of these highlighted songs are fun to listen to. I'm really interested to hear your original stuff, which I'll check out, too.

While I haven't heard the original for "Fruits of her Labor," enough to really give feedback, I can certainly say it was good because I greatly enjoyed listening to it. It seemed different enough from the original and I liked it.

Beyond Her Garden remix was pretty good as well, though there were a couple places the voices seemed to not match up with the music. Could just be me though. The only thing was it felt somewhat empty, I don't know what your mindset/ideas were for creating it, so I don't know if that was part of the goal. To me it felt like it could have been filled in a bit more.

Avast: jhjhdkjhnfkjgkjdhfkjgdhkfjn WAT. Ok, so I was gonna be like "oh man, another one of these." But the intro I was like, well whatever that is there^. And hoooo boy, this is really cool. It's that kind of melody that always gets stuck in my head, but this one is one of the better arranged ones that I can remember. There was a lot to it. I enjoyed it. At 2:08, is that Fluttershy's scream used? Or is it a synth? Either way, it's cool!

You should try and do something for Balloon Party. But just do whatever you can, I want to hear more music from you no matter what, but I'm more interested in hearing originals (pony related or not).

Thanks for the feedback :D

I'm loving everyone's reaction to my Avast remix.. At 2:08 as you say, is Fluttershy's screaming. Also, I would really like to do something for Balloon Party, but I just might not have time.

And again, I've uploaded all my originals (and other songs in general) to my SoundCloud page.
