I already released my song uh. Woops. I was a little peeved I didn't know about the extension as I busted my booty to get it done... and I made a YT link etc becuase I didn't get the memo about the submission style change either.

Either way, is this new album a similar theme? Like I have this interesting metal song idea that is kinda dark and even a little angry for the verses but the breaks into this SUPER uplifting chorus that will (HOPEFULLY) bring people to tears.

Imma post the lyrics: you decide!

As long as the overall message and tone of the song is uplifting, it should fit in just fine, and your lyrics are really good as they are. I like how the first verse ends in a somewhat more positive, hopeful note before the transition to the chorus, so if anything, it might be better if the second verse ended the same way. Well, that's just my 2 cents, and those lyrics already look good to me, so I'm looking forward to hearing your song!

No, it's not.
I wouldn't need to spent a year in actually learning the correct pronunciation and perfecting the lyrics (and listening to Helene Bølske a lot) if it was Indonesian.

But yeah, probably there's still imperfection.
