Note, this will be my submission for Seeds of Kindness, so this video is unlisted.

Anyway, I wanted to go for a more relaxing/groove type song, with some psytrance elements, but I really need some outside opinion on what may need fixing up prior to submitting.

This is actually my second master track. I've already cleaned up many areas that sounded too muddy.

This is really neat. The blend going on in this song is done really well, you truly feel all the "aspects" of the song. Soo... That awkward moment when there isn't much to say. I'll just do it this way:

The intro is sweet, as you're led in, there's a confusion as what to expect, because at first there's this ambient almost dark sounding part, then (I'm gonna call it a sitar for my uneducated ear) the sitar comes in and it sounds more exotic. Then the first transition into the beat is seamless and you're given a moment to appreciate the trance-feel of the beat before it then blends into the more intense part at 1:45. This is the only spot I felt the transition was a little awkward. I get going for the hard/abrupt change and it works decently well (the more times I listen to it, the more ok I am with it in the scope of the whole song). The transition at the end of that section felt awkward to me as well, I think it's just how the drums go straight into the different beat. Not too sure. The crazy exotic breakdown section at 2:30 with all the effected instruments is super neat and adds to the ambience as well as giving another kind of intense area to break the rest of it up. The transition at 3:40 works great, and I noticed there were cymbals leading up to it which is what made me think that the drums were part of the awkward in the earlier one. Also when it does the transition at 4:14, the sitar plays up before the change happens moreso than in the 1:45 one. It could just be song context or my ears. But the transition out of that at 4:33 felt awkward as well, like the first one. But oh man, the ending. No complaints there at all; a great fade out and all puts the best "last thought" in your head when finishing it.

Well, huh, I did end up saying a lot, I just don't normally like doing the whole "breakdown" throughout the whole song because it feels like I'm just saying what the you (the artist) already know (emotionally/thematically) about your song. There's also a lot of opinion in there (heck, there always is), but I just notice transitions so those always stick out to me and I tend to analyze them the most. My point being, if they fit with your vision of the song, don't change it, the comments on them were all just how I heard it. It's really an awesome song, superb work!
