<Pony> <Remix> She's A Pony [First Electro]

Postby Twitch » 12 Mar 2012 13:54

Hiya! I'm Twitch, a 15 year old producer! I've been making music for almost four years now. And when I became a Brony three months ago, I started making Brony-music!
Here's my first Pony song/remix. Also the first electro track I've ever finished! Enjoy!

I don't normally listen to Electro, and this still sounds amazing! You make me so jealous of your producing skills. I'm a year older than you, and nowhere near as good.

This is a fantasinc electro piece!
Just a warning about the pluck synth you bring in at :57; it won't translate well to a mono system, I know its fun to put stuff on the far outside of the stereo image but putting whole sounds there can be very dangerous to your track.

Oh, sure. It'll be secret today. Next thing you know, you'll be performing a cheesy, out-of-tune 80s-style song about it at a talent show that will somehow end up destroying the stage.

On-topic, this remix is epic. Really epic. So epic that my headphones broke - again - while listening to it. Worth it. But now I'm down one pair of headphones.

I actually own the CD for POTC, and they had a very very similar techno redo of this very song. Guessing you were inspired by it?

But this is electro house, and even Tiesto can't hold a candle to good electro house.

This is superb! I really like it a lot!... And that's all I have to say, that's how much I like it. You were able to keep enough of the original "theme/idea" of the song and yet still make it completely your own. Really looking forward to more work from you!

Wow, I really like this. deadmau5-esque trance chords, sidechained leads and crispy Wolfgang synths make its sound very juicy and bright.
By the way I guess Toby Emerson influenced you very much kkk :D

Ok I will try my best to explain this,

You have stereo speakers they look like:

_______________ Left Seaker________________Right Speaker_____________

Think about where you hear the sound when you listen on stereo speakers, it should sound like theres audio coming from everywhere like so (the little dots are where you think the sound is coming from).

.......................Left Seaker..................................Right Speaker...........................

{_____Outside____}{____Inside________ Inside__________ Inside______}{___Outside______}

When you play music on a mono system all the sound that inbetween the speakers will be played, but any sound outside of the speakers will not.

The outside is where I hear that synth playing and that means if it were played in mono you would not hear it.

I hope this helps.

Hmm.. I get the idea. But I have no clue which one of the synth's you're talking about :/ Was it at 0.57?
