<Pony><Original> Elements of Harmony

Postby ByCelestiasBeard » 12 Mar 2012 03:21

I started work on this around new year and then completely forgot about it till now.
I went and finished it up instead of leaving it to rot in my hard drive.

Sidechaining galore.

This is a well produced track! The only thing I dont like is the clap sample, it doesn't fit well imo but w/e.

I would even say this is one of my favorite brony tracks :D

I agree with the4thImpulse, it is a great track.
The clap was weird on the first listen, but I got used to it by the second listen.
currently on a hiatus from actively making music due to school

It's cool, and I actually didn't notice the claps until the second listen, but didn't mind them. The one thing to me is that after a point, it doesn't seem to be "going anywhere." That is it doesn't feel like it has much drive behind it after awhile. The intro is a great hook and feeds into my favorite part at 0:54. At this point when it all builds up it's driving me forward into the song, but after around 1:53 (which I felt was an awkward transition) it sort of loses it's drive and just seems to repeat it's message. It could just be me, but that's what I noticed. Don't get me wrong, it's really cool how the voice is done and it's all constructed. And I really like the theme of it. It also has a good ending. Aside from that one point, I really like it.
