Well, I think this one is something like glitchstep, I don't know really what genre it is. It was supposed to be funky-styled house (yeah, Daft Punk much), but it turned to a weird downtempo track, not without Jackle App's music influence. This is not finished yet, it stil needs some moments improved, but it is already like the entire completed track would be.

TODO list:
Improve dubstep mastering and add some overlay like orchestral on it. [uhm, guess it's done]
Make PMV to upload on Youtube and get over 9k views. [PMV idea cancelled due to some Vegas lags and so on]
Develop background bass into something more juicy. [done]
MOAR FL OVERDRIVE [it's done where it should be]
    And mastering, too. [yuppy yup]

Pretty cool for a glitch track and nice and downtempo (like the dubstep elements midway). You could always get some vocals samples and let them float around in the mix if you wanted. Such type of music may have a limited audience but there's no reason why you shouldn't be happy with something that's a little more adventerous like this. A nice glitchy pmv would be cool too. Anyway good job and putting out something that's a bit different.

Ah, I love this. It's soothing without being boring, and it's very different from what you hear around the place nowadays. Loved some of the sounds you made for the dubstep portion, and the chip sound fits really well. I'd love to hear this when it's done. c:

<tldr>Here it is, I guess it's the final version because I'm too tired of this track now but I think it would be reasonable to post preview. I slightly edited dubstep parts (although they are still crap, I guess I'm bad at those basses) and added some back tracks. You might ask what about PMV - well there's such a fail because I have all MLP eps compressed into format which Vegas doesn't support :( and I'm too frightened about the idea of 4 minute PMV.</tldr>

Overall it's a very nice track. Almost like floating through a cataclysmic space (because the ambient but glitch-y sounds). Sometimes a sound here or there feels a bit out of time, but its a well thought through composition. I think the melody comes across more as a backing harmony, since it repeats so often throughout the track, but you do a very good job at spicing up the sound with different effects.

Great use of guitar sounds too. Are you using slayer for that, or something else?

I agree with everyone elses comments

I love the lead synth at :54 it has some awesome reverb on it. If you don't mind me asking what did you use for the reverb?

I used Les-Paul Power Chords sample preset from Cinematic Guitars.

Actually it's Fruity Delay Bank with several different delays. I think it sounds very much like reverb because one of its layers has very little delay time.
