Sure, if you want to get some feedback, you can post it just like any other WIP in the music subforum. Real bass clarinet sounds very promising :)

I'm working on some music I've got the basic idea down, and will be working on it some more the coming week. It's going to be based on an idea that has been lingering in my mind. I just hope the judges will like it! It's going to be a jazz fusion-esque piece in mainly 5/8 meter with little deviations to 6/8, but what I've got so far isn't hard to follow I'm doing my best to make it feel as natural as I can.

I've submitted my track but unfortunately it still has a bit of clipping in transitions, I'll try and fix that but I'm keeping the entry just in case I don't get around to doing it until the deadline. I don't know if 0.02 second clip matters a whole ton, but still, I'll see what I can do.

I hoped it wouldn't come to this, but I'm afraid I've had to withdraw from the 'Seeds of Kindness' project.

I was really looking forward to getting a song down for it but some difficult personal matters, compounded by my midi audio kit refusing to work properly, have meant that it doesn't look like I'll be able to get a satisfactory entry in by the due date.

I'm really disappointed that I couldn't get it together for this... Its a really wonderful project, but I have faith that those involved will get some truly great stuff together. I hope to re-engage in future projects, but for now I will just have to offer support from the outside.

Sorry guys... and well done everypony who's done or is doing work for this!

We can both work incredibly fast. Do these songs need lyrics, or can they just be something like, say, a happy house song?

Also, when its a collab, how do you submit the credit for both of you?

It doesn't need to have lyrics, most songs were instrumental in the last album. As for credit, just put both of your names in the filename if you only want your names cited, or PM me the additional Youtube/Soundcloud link.

We will also be needing some album art, if anyone wants to try their hand at it. For this kind of album, it's more appropriate to avoid going full pony, but as we learned last time, humanized characters inevitably cause an uncanny valley feeling to some people, no matter how good the art itself may be. Maybe something based around the Seeds of Truth flower and/or Zecora's cutie mark?

There's still one thing going on that prevents us from giving a definitive release date, but it's likely to come out in roughly 3 weeks. There won't be preorders, but we get to use a much simpler platform this time around.
