<original><nonpony> first track

Hey fellas. Aspiring musician here. Ponies are great. Hell of an introduction! Now look at my stuff. c:

This is the first product of my tinkering with FL Studio 8: http://soundcloud.com/torrenz/torrenz-k ... hensaft-v1 (Don't ask about the title, I owed it to a friend)

Lay it on me! Just don't get too technical as of now. I'll figure out what a saw bass is soon enough.
Don't tell me about the stock instruments. They're on low priority until I get better at this.

Hi! Welcome, salutations and such!
I thought the track was quite good. A bit repetitive but overall not to shabby for a first try.
The beat could do with a few variations and fills here and there to break the Bum-kish-bumbum-kish sound.
Length was good, didn't get bored of it. Mixing was alright, bring down the pads and the melody up a bit.

¡hola! and welcome to the communities!

now lets get down to business. if there was one thing to add in this piece, it would be variation. Not variation as in gradually adding instruments but more like where the drum beat would change and the lead would play different notes and more instruments would pop in and out of the song. and stuff like that. mmhmm yeah. okdoky.

Thanks for the welcomes and feedback! :D I'll keep your advice in mind.

I'm already several hours into a new track, but I think I'll try to absorb that Music Guide before I throw it at you guys. Looking forward to it.
