Like, the part in parenthesis at the end would totally hint that you all should know its a joke.

You should make your intentions more obvious if you don't want to invoke Poe's law. Making half the rules sound legitimate and the rest only sound ill-advised at worst, without anything outright silly thrown in, is just going to confuse people. And "let's make up some silly fake rules to mess with the guy who's been away" sounds like something you'd tack onto a post that was otherwise supposed to be serious, at least it does to me.

It's a good idea for a joke, I just think the setup was a bit botched.

We should probably change the subject at this point. Sorry for the knee jerk reaction. For future reference, put the part you're joking about at the end, because people automatically skip everything else if that's in the middle and miss the cue that it's a joke (think about how many people share onion stories seriously because they haven't read them).

Cookies as toile paper sounds like a bad idea. Like, imagine wiping then all the sudden you get hungry. Bad direction

Yesterday I told my mom I was going to help my friend in computer shopping and that I was going to best buy (roughly 30 miles away)
Half of that was a lie

I actually did go to best buy. But I got a television and a play station instead.
Then I went home. Nobody was home. So I took the all-in-one computer/screen off the desk in my room and put the television there. And I set up the play station next to it.
My mom comes home soon after and sees me using the play station and television.
Nothing was said.

My theory:
She thought it was the computer
or
She doesn't care

(Probably option one considering how she hates technology and when I buy it.)

Nah... I think you'd be surprised how ignorant some people can be when it comes to the difference between a playstation and another computer, not designated specifically for gaming.

I don't see why it would be a problem though. If it was your money, you should be allowed to do what you want with it.

im a little happy someone remembers that.
However, that no longer applies (effective about a couple weeks ago)
my parents said that they are ok with me getting a computer now.
but im pretty sure it took my dad a lot of convinving for my mom to say yes.
my dad is the one who said to me that i could
my mom would probably never tell me because deep down she probably still doesnt want me to get one.
but she probably gave in because i was going to move out and now she probably wants me barely happy enough to stay. but who knows.

I havent talked about my life recently, so I guess all the drama from earlier this year is still in cliff hanger mode.

Basically, I didnt move out.
And I had bought a car because I was going to move out but it was a cheap car and it looks like crap. But now I am trying to get rid of it.
Tension has died a lot. It was at it's peak after I told my dad of my plan and then he told my mom. She was pretty pissed. They sat me down for over an hour "talking" (my mom yelling and having a one sided conversation basically) and she was so pissed from that and somehow she convinced me to stay.
so I stayed.
and I earned a lot of money during the summer
and I talked to my dad a bit
and i kept asking about a computer to him because I wanted one
and he was cool with it from the start really
just he had to do some convincing to my mom
and really really recently is when he said that she was ok
and I really think that she said it was ok reluctantly
like she probably isnt ok but is just saying "fine"
so I saved up a lot of money
like about $1200 for it
and then she said that I cant get it until i get rid of the crappy car i bought
so then now im trying to get rid of it
and while waiting, I decided I want a playstation a littlre more right now than a computer
because the family computer is barely ok for doing what im doing
and the playstation 4 will hold me over
so i got it and a television
and yea. still have not told her about it. but thats ok. she'll probably never notice it walking by my room.
unless she walks into my room and notices that the tv is different that the all-in-one computer that I had
because the tv is black
and the computer is red
but she didnt say anything yesterday when she saw me playing my playstation on the tv
probably thought that I somehow hooked up the ps3 to the computer
but shhh (i didnt)
She wont be able to tell the difference between a ps3 and a ps4
but she mioght find out if my big mouth brother says something
he just came home from a vacation to florida
he is totally fine with me having the playstatin and televisin
he doesnt know I secretly got it
so if he mentions it, then I'll have to say to my parents that I have purchased a ps4
and a television
which they wont really like a lot
but I'll say that I got this instead of a computer because its cheaper
and when I get my computer, I'll use the tv as the screen
and I wont get a computer until next summer
unless I win the brony aerospace music contest that I entered
because the winner gets a $1,000 gift card
and if I had a $1,000 gift card, I could use that on a computer
which would make me happy because I would put it in ym room under my desk
and it would look cool to have a computer under the desk and a ps4 on the desk and then a tv on the desk
i would look super cool in my opinion
but nobody would really see it
but I dont care
I will get the computer next summer if I dont win
which I probably wont
but im not sure how many people actually knew about the contest
so I could place in positions 2-11 which also have prizes
of $100 gift cards to amazon
then I could use those to get paypal money to get psn money
or get pony merch
which somehoiw I actually have a lot of.
I am planning on going to BronyCon next year with a friend
because I plan on moving out for real next summer if possible so I cant get in trouble for going to baltimore for a week
unless I tell my parents that I am just going to wyoming for a few days to visit a friend and not mention bronycon
but its all up in the air
i will go to bronycon though
and if that costs a lot of money, then I might not get the computer yet
but its currently still a tradition that a graduation ppresent is a computer
(up to $500 max)
so I could use the $500 to help buy something more expensive and pay the difference
which my dad is cool with doing
and that would give me a decent budget for bronycon
and I can't wait for it.
But I have current goals to accomplish right now first.
like finding a week end job
because Office Depot is a dud
maybe I'll ask my current job if I'm able to work on the weekend
idk
and I also have to get rid of that car
and then also get a phone because I dont have one
and then also finish this semester without too much distraction
which is really difficult for me because my ipod and music are very distracting.
I also have to keep working on ym album and try to finish it
because a lot of people on facebook are saying that they will buy it
so I may price it at $5 and I'll possibly make like fifteen to thirty bucks
who knows
I also have to manage finding a way t pay for things like gas
because I spent pretty much all my saved money thats accessable and have less than a hundred left
which means that I can no longer eat off campus lunch at school
I need to finish my homework due tomorrow that I put off because i was playing too much ps4 and doing yard work
which it does not surprise me my parents would give me work to do for no reason
i need to stop being so distracted
i think i should get rid of my ipod because its a major distraction
but i cant :(
i like my ipod a lot actually because I save pony pictures to my ipod
i have been collecting just a few a day
and sometimes a lot in a day
and have accumulated over a thousand since the summer
and plan on keeping on doing that
but the resolution is kind of low
so I started doing that on my computer
and I went to deviant art and found a bunch of twilight sparkle photos
and they were all decent to high resolution
so I saved over 80 different images
less than 10 were no of twilight
I think that twilight is really cute
i was wearing my twilight sparkle blanket while I was doing that too
because twilight is amazingly cute
And I also purchased The Last Of Us on ps4
and it made me want to cry right in the beginning
omg it was so sad
and i just want to keep playing it
I like the ps4 system a lot compared to the ps3
its just a lot cooler
but I am going to get a computer even better than the ps4
and then eventually I'll probably be playing only pc games because I prefer high graphics games
except Ill make an exception for kingdom hearts because I wanna get the 2.5 remix
and its going to be cool because kingdom hearts 2 was my favorite game in middle school
at least until i was introduced to call of duty multiplayer
because thats when I became a bit more competative
and then eventually I learned of all the jerks on online games
and I always mute them
because why not
anyway, i am ranting a lot now I guess
i really dont wanna stop but its getting late and I have to do hoework.

*looks through rant* Woah...you have more money than me bro...eh, I've got enough problems and torment anyway...I hardly give myself time to sleep because I'm a rapper outside and inside of the Brony Community, and a DJ strictly (for now) within the community. I try to balance my emotions, music, schoolwork, Marching Band, grades, life, and video games in one package.

I know the feeling, for the next 2 weeks I'm flat out busy doing everything. I have to finish mixing a song, do a writeup of it, and submit it, submit my other assignment, study for 2 exams, get a pirate costume (as busy as I am I will always make time for a pirate party), go to a meeting with the festival team I'm working with (by the way that'll get busier with time), go to said pirate party, do those exams, come back to my hometown, help out on set because my step dad and mum can't do any lifting (step dad is having a surgery, mum has a back problem right now) and MAYBE I'll have time to do music. Kind of a short list, but all of these things take a fair while to do.

I'm just glad I'm on my way out of this trimester, I need to sleep for a week or so
