I was bored the other day and I stacked a whole bunch of different delays with infinite decay times together creating this monstrosity. Note: I just hit middle C using a piano sound and let the effect do the rest
It just keeps going on and on and on and on....

DJ Pon-3 wrote:Well noise is an actual music genre (or stuff that some argue doesn't fit in music conventionally) and I'm glad to see that some Brony musicians are somewhat interested in doing something in that direction as I haven't seen much. I've done some of that style in the past. A person can easily play with existing MLP or even existing Brony Music samples & music, with effects and techniques and get some noisey results so it's not really that hard to make. I've often thought that noise is more fun to make then hear but I'd be very interested in assisting.
I like doing some sound collages so let me try a few minutes of 4 or 5 episodes running at different speeds collaged and upload it up tonight or tomorrow.

As a musician, I'm not exactly sure I agree. There is a big difference between noise and music.
I guess that it could be done, but it will have to be done exceptionally well. I'll see if I can find a musical sound lying around.

@Pon-3 - oh Supersaw Hoover has us quite acquainted with noisecore haha
Evdog wrote:Okay, despite my reluctance to this, I've found two sounds for you. There's a bit of background noise... unintended background noise in there too, but that couldn't be helped.

Take as long as you need to do a good job. As I said before, this needs to be done really well, otherwise everyone will just call it a bunch of noises.
Epic Eric wrote:wait up. One of my friends plays the didgeridoo (Yes I'm Australian), maybe I can make something from that.
ps. What is it you want to use the noises for? Or are you literally just listening to a noise as music?

I have this weird percussive instrument. I'm not really sure what it is, but here's some random notes on it. I added a delay effect because I thought it sounded cool, but if you'd prefer the audio without that effect I can take it out and post that too.
