What is it?
Seeking Solace originally started as an idea formed by Topitmonkeydog. It was an album to help me get money for gender therapy etc. We had always planned to make multiple albums each aimed at helping a different person, So from the start we called the original Seeking Solace 'Volume 1'. When we were discussing the second one a while back I said to Holly (Viricide Filly) that I would get the second to be for you. This did not happen at first as Topit did not have enough time to work on a second album. Eventually I decided to take the reins. So here we are SEEKING SOLACE: VOLUME II.

What can I submit?
Most genres are welcome, as long as it reflects the theme of the album, that is finding safety amongst danger. Chill is preferred however this will not influence the final decision whether the song makes it in or not.
Yes you can submit more than one but there is a max of 3, and only one of your songs will make it on. You can submit a max of 3 songs however only one song will make it on, Collabs are exempt from this rule. You can only submit a cover or remix if you have full written permission. This permission MUST be sent to me via PM or email (At bottom of post) for your song to be eligible to be on the album

How do I submit music?
SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.

How will my music be judged?
Your song/music will be judged by a panel of judges. Currently this panel consists of Myself, and Topitmonkeydog. If you would like to help with the judging please PM me or email me (Below).

How many songs will chosen?
Just like the previous album there will be 8 tracks on Seeking Solace 2, unless there are tracks we can't decide between.

When will the album be released?
The album will be released on the 20th of July 2014. This will happen on our bandcamp.

I'm flattered, really, but I'm not sure I really need the profit, nor do I think many people remember the point of Seeking Solace. I'm trans, yes, but I don't need financial support because I'm in the UK..
Also I believe Topit ran the first one and you should probably provide more info on why and stuff and get it a bit more organised with more people..
But I'm still not okay with an album with profits solely going to me..that's what my own albums are for >.>

I'm glad this is being revived again. Biggest recommendation and opportunity would be to have a means to promote this so there will be funds available for the procedure. I'm not sure if EQD ever picked up the first album (if the organizer can share some of the issues with the last one, hopefully we can learn and build from that) but that's key if we want the brony community to be aware. The LGBT community would need to be involved and considered if you really want to have some core support as well (especailly thru tumblr). This really should be planned out well in advance as i don't think the past event went as well as it could. That will also make the possibility of future albums truly possible.

If you have any album / promo art or prev tumblr posts for me for FIMM I'd be happy to announce this.

I have a Glittershell track that i did with RainSnowHail that's essentially done for an immediate upcoming album. Since its about the Ask blog about a gender confused Snails it would likely be very appropriate. But I'm likely not going to wait to release it exclusively for this album unless things really get delayed with my current plans. I could always still include it or remix it in some fashion for this (or do something different). I'll keep you posted but hopefully I'll have to something to contribute.

Ok first of all I am EXTREMELY pumped about this being done! And this year whatever I will submit willl be TONS better than that weird thing I made last time because I actually know how to use Ableton and my band is coming together now so I'll try and make something happen!
