Super proud at how this turned out, I impressed myself with the drums considering how poor they started out. I also noticed something funny with the track, which is after rendering; if I play the track at a higher volume the snare seems to "duck" behind the mix. It's really bugging me and I was wondering if anyone else notices it, please let me know any ideas on how it can be fixed. Cheers!

Your chord progression and SID-like sounds are amazing!

I've been listening for the snare-issue and the only thing I can think of would be your compression (If Any)
I'm thinking that perhaps your decay might be set a bit too long, so the compressor doesn't get back to 0 before the next snare hit? If this is not the case, I'm afraid I'm a bit stumped

First off, this sounds pretty amazing, you've certainly have outdone yourself on this.

I'v also tried listening for the snare issue, but when I play at a high volume, I don't notice much of a difference, idk if it's because I use earphones, or not, but it sounded fine to me, so Idk what to really say about that.

Thanks to both of you for listening! I'm thinking now the snare issue could just be due to my audio drivers instead of the mixing.

I think you might be right. I've tried it on three headsets and two speaker setups and can't really hear anything of the sorts.

I have one small thing.
Might I recommend making a longer intro, or at least try to? I believe this went into build-up too soon. (Please make the intro half-tempo if you do :P )

But next to that, beautiful atmosphere. The sounds combine very nicely, the elements of your track are pretty impressive, except the little arp that I don't really like.
And my god that guitar is perfect (but you already knew that xD ).

You gave me goosebumps.
