So this is my next Ambient track. I'm starting to think I might like this genre more than EDM, might even have to change my cutie mark. I got the idea from just imagining Rainbow dash in the sky flying at night. I just get a sort of peaceful and relaxed feeling from it.

Anyways, This is not finished, I just had this in my library and decided to pull it out. I added a few of my own personal touches to it, you'll probably hear it, but if you don't it's that mess during :41-1:00;it's that sorta of growly noise, and if you do, please tell me how it is, and if it should be taken out or not, I just put it in there as a filler, and it sounds alright to me, but I need another ear. This isn't mastered either, so some of the elements aren't really in conjunction, but I'll get to fixing it later when the final product is out. This is also repetitive because, again, this isn't finished and I just needed to extent the time to let ideas flow. So Feedback Is highly appreciated.

If this doesn't really turn out how I want it or it just starts to sound weird, then I'll just make a EDM track out of this, since I already have those growls and a nice pad.

I really like the tone and clarity of the part from 0:00-0:40. The growly noise surprised me a little, I feel like it can work for ambient, but it needs to come in later in the track. I was really feeling the dynamics of the piece as it kept building but the "chorus" part came a little too early for me, you might want to consider drawing the beginning out for a few more measures (like 20-30 more seconds) and starting out softer and a little more subtle. (Maybe delaying the bells at 0:06 for a little while as well)

Contrast can be very effective in ambient styles especially is a mood track like what this piece is turning into, I'd say keep writing, experimenting and adding different ideas to the piece. I'm looking forward to hearing it when it's done, whether you keep it ambient or go EDM. :D

This is my first semi-professional critique of a song so I'm sorry if I'm a bit vague. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the feedback, I wasn't expecting to get as much detail from someone either, so this really helped. This track will definitely undergo some changes, I usually spend more time on dynamics of ambient tracks, this one actually caught me by surprise because the pads are so tranquil sounding and calming. The bells I'm thinking of keeping, But their tone and dominance will be restructured. So pretty much everything will be rearranged. I just needed some time to create a more dynamic and fulfilled track, as well as a more solid idea that's mlp related, that way I can send to EQD.

Your feedback did indeed help and it has given me some inspiration and ideas as to what I can do to make this track better and sound the way I want it to, So thank you very, very much. Best of luck to your projects, too.
