While working around with improving my synth Guitar sounds and production, I made this little arrangement. At the moment, I'm considering whether I should finish it by writing a melody line for my instruments, or adding vocals. I'm kind of leaning towards the latter, but I have no idea who I'd be able to get into it, so it's still on the fence.

As thing are though, I'm looking for feedback on the instrumental, especially harsh criticism. Hit me with whatever you guys have, I want to improve!

This is a rather nice piece, man. The piano in the beginning was tasteful, and the rhythm guitar I honestly couldn't tell it was a synth. The lead was a little more obvious, which I guess is my big issue, but the rhythm I honestly thought was real. The whole song had a nice punky feel to it, given the tempo and just raw attitude spewing everywhere.

If you want a rather convincing lead guitar synth, try looking up some of Jan Hammer's stuff on YouTube. Yes, his stuff is so 80s you can die from too much cheese, but how he does his guitar sound is very convincing, especially 25-30 years later, but I digress. This is a great piece I'd love to see you expand upon. Add some lyrics and improve on the lead guitar and I think you're set.

Thanks for the feedback. The little I know about actually playing guitar I learned from Rocksmith and a cheapo crap instrument. Nice to know that I'm doing something right with what I've got.

Again, not sure if I want to add vocals or not, but I'll definitely consider reworking that lead. I worked on it a little, and replaced the link in the OP with something I found worked a little better, but I'm definitely seeing places I might improve now, and will likely work it further. I'm probably going to leave the solo synth at 3:33 close to how it is though, because I like the sound of it with relation to the other bits. Thanks for the listening advice too, will go find some of that.
