Current trance is 132-138, sometimes 128, but rarely goes up above 138.

Doesn't mean it can't go over 138 ;)

Trance is DJ music. This compilation is gonna be DJ mixed as well. That means if you stray too far away from BPM, your track will sound wrong, and will be excluded from the compilation.

Trance and "everything else that's accepted" will be kept seperate.

Trance is generaly 130-142BPM

Try to keep the "EVERYTHING ELSE" between 125-135 BPM

We will decide a final BPM for the mixes, however, your original/club mixes will be presented separately as their native BPM

Do people really not know how megamixes work?

I weep for EDM.

For the record, in the final mix for this CD, some, part, or most of your track may actually be cut out or edited to work with the final mix, the bpm may be changed, the key may be changed, and special effects may be added. This is the nature of DJing, and it's just as much art as the creation of the original track. If you expect this to be an exhibition of your track in all of it's glory, you should reassess your expectations.

To be fair, we are releasing all tracks as original in a separate release (a full-track release) to allow people to get the individual songs for their MP3 players, radio and for other DJs too.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, one of the discs will no longer be mixed by DJ Ossy.

We are pleased to inform that Waranto Wingbeat (http://www.youtube.com/user/WarantoWingbeat) will be stepping up to the plate instead!

Will you accept hardstyle? Hardstyle is a sub genre of trance.

Hardstyle would technically be a subgenre of trance. But it's the kind of genre that thoroughly stretches the boundaries of trance and overlaps a lot with other genres, like Electro Trance, or Futurepop, or Breaks Trance. To the point where you do wonder if it really is Trance.
