C, E flat and G walk into a bar and the bartender says: “Sorry we don’t serve minors”, so E-flat leaves, and C and G have an open fifth between them. After a few drinks, the fifth is diminished and G is out flat. F comes in and tries to augment the situation, but is not sharp enough.

D comes in and heads for the bathroom saying, “Excuse me. I’ll just be a second.” Then A comes in, but the bartender is not convinced that this relative of C is not a minor. Then the bartender notices B-flat hiding at the end of the bar and says, “Get out! You’re the seventh minor I’ve found in this bar tonight.”

E-Flat comes back the next night in a three-piece suit with nicely shined shoes. The bartender says, “you’re looking sharp tonight. Come on in, this could be a major development.” Sure enough, E-flat soon takes off his suit and everything else, and is au natural.

Eventually C sobers up and realizes in horror that he’s under a rest. C is brought to trial, found guilty of contributing to the diminution of a minor, and is sentenced to 10 years of D.S. without Coda at an upscale correctional facility.

i have to say though making these puns gets me lost in a trance. it trapped me inside my big room in my house where i would buildup piles of ideas, they would echo and reverb around my head for ages but i limited and filtered the ones that get in, so the popularity of this thread has been compressed.but, eeeEQ i didn't think it would get this bad, but ,it makes me wonder, was this just a preset cause, or could we have patched this over. i hope now this thread can really take off, even though its start has been a bit delayed.

Why attack all the efforts to keep sustaining this thread? We're just trying to release a little stress, and our puns are decaying with all the subtractive comments. I say let each pun, no matter how low, pass (except those for which you'd get banned - reject those).

I saw you leading your friends to the square. Don't know why but I wasn't able to comprehend any logic or reason why would you do that, I bounced the idea in my head back and forth, though. At least the square was open and wasn't cut off from public access, imagine the public resonance on twitter if it was closed. So yeah, I've come to resolution that open space is better, unlike being indoors — my place has so little headroom that I can't even walk around without crouching at some places. I even keep clips of stuff on ceiling.
